Monday, June 3rd

8:00 am – 10:00 am

We’ll begin the course by covering health department regulations that everyone interested in permanent makeup school needs to know. Properly obtaining the consent of your clients is critical to protecting yourself and your business, and we’ll cover everything you need to know about consent.

We’ll then turn our attention to other health department regulations that you need to know, including building and zoning. This is crucial information if you’re considering starting your own company, or if you’re going to be joining an existing one.

We will conclude the first block by explaining what bloodborne pathogens are and how you can keep yourself and your clients safe when applying permanent makeup. We will take a test that covers everything we talked about in this first block, and this will give you the opportunity to assess your understanding of permanent makeup application and safety procedures.

10:00 am – 12:30 pm

A live demonstration will take place during this block, and you will be able to see all of the steps involved in permanent makeup application in detail. You’ll be able to ask questions and receive individualized attention with anything you would like to know more about.

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

We will begin the final block of the first day by covering needle assembly, breakdown, and disposal techniques. Professions that involve needle use are held to stringent standards, and we’ll cover everything you need to know in order to keep yourself, your clients, and your business safe.

We end the session with a period of time that will allow you to practice and ask questions about proper needle assembly, breakdown, and disposal techniques. You will have the opportunity to receive individual attention and practice on different mediums. We’ll also cover tips and tricks used by the best cosmetologists in the industry!

Tuesday, June 4th

8:00 am – 10:00 am

We’ll cover eyeliner explanation and examples in the first block of Tuesday’s session. While many of the students in this course will likely be familiar with traditional eyeliner application techniques, we will pay careful attention to the different requirements of permanent makeup. More specifically, we will cover permanent eyeliner examples, measurement rules, and techniques and styles commonly used in the industry.

10:00 am – 12:30 pm

The second block of this day will include a live demonstration that allows you to ask questions and to see what you’re learning in action!

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

The final block of this day will consist of an eyeliner application practice session and the opportunity to test out of this portion of the permanent makeup certification process. You will have the opportunity to receive personalized attention and assistance with anything you’re struggling with or would like to learn more about.

Wednesday, June 5th

8:00 am – 10:00 am

The first block of Wednesday’s session will cover eyebrows and common permanent eyebrow makeup application techniques, including stroked and powdered looks. We will cover basic color theory and explain which colors to use for corrective purposes.

10:00 am – 12:30

This block of Wednesday’s class will be dedicated to a live demonstration, which will provide you with the opportunity to see your newly learned skills put into action. You will also be given the opportunity to receive individualized attention and to ask any questions you may have.

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Wednesday’s session concludes with an eyebrow practice session and the opportunity to test out of this portion of the permanent makeup certification process.

Thursday, June 6th

8:00 am – 10:00 am

Thursday’s session begins with an introduction to lips and all of the possible colors that lips can be. We will cover lip shape and lip color correction techniques, and we will also teach you how to make lips smaller or larger using the vermilion border. We’ll cover basic color theory as it applies to the lips, giving you all of the skills you need to create beautiful, luscious effects.

10:00 am – 12:30 pm

We will hold a live session dedicated to learning about permanent makeup as applied to the lips. You will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to see just how amazing permanent lip makeup can be!

1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Thursday’s final block will be dedicated to practicing the techniques taught throughout the day, and you will then be given the opportunity to test out of this portion of the permanent makeup certification process.

The final session is devoted to allowing students to customize their learning experience. Julie Shumate will be available to provide one-on-one assistance to students who are interested in learning more about a particular technique, or who are seeking to open their own business. Julie is a nationally-renowned cosmetologist and permanent makeup artist, this school will allow students to receive personalized education from an industry expert.
